SUPIGATE is an integrated digital platform for distance education and online learning. It was launched in 2020 as a partnership between SUPEMIR, a private university in Morocco, and IGate International Institute, to provide education and training services to non-Moroccan students living outside Morocco.
Since its launch, more than 1,200 students from Arab and African countries have benefited from the platform, which continues to operate and expand today.
Hesham Khalafallah serves as planner, general supervisor and head of digital development for the platform, and manages the project across the Middle East.
Through the project, training initiatives have been delivered in several countries, and cooperation and partnership agreements have been signed with institutions in Yemen, India, Chad, Sudan, France and Italy to run student exchange programs and student activities.
Status: an active, ongoing project since 2020.
