Biography
For more than twenty years I have worked where education meets technology: how we design better learning experiences, and how we turn new technologies into projects that can be delivered.
My career began in Egypt in technical support and training. I then founded training and consulting centres in Upper Egypt, expanded with training and consulting projects to Kuwait, Bahrain and Cyprus, and served as Head of Innovation, Marketing and Expansion at Swiss Digital World from 2019 to 2022.
Since 2020 I have been a partner and board member of the IGate International group of institutes, leading the SUPIGATE distance-learning platform in Morocco, which has served more than 1,000 students, and I chair the Board of Trustees of the E-Gate Foundation for Training and Education in Egypt. In 2022 I founded MetaLife Metaverse to deliver immersive learning experiences built on extended reality and AI, and since 2024 I have headed the AI & Metaverse Research Center at the League of Islamic Universities.
I have trained more than 20,000 people, and I speak at conferences and events on the future of education and emerging technologies.
