Kyrgyzstan is one of the distinctive stations of my international experience in business development, market research, investment and commercial expansion; my connection with it began in 2024.
I took part in preparing and organising an event called Global Expo in the capital, Bishkek, as well as providing marketing consulting to organisations, businesspeople and investors, and studying opportunities to open new markets for trade and export.
Taking part in Global Expo — Bishkek
One of the most notable parts of the Kyrgyz experience was helping prepare and organise Global Expo in Bishkek.
My role covered the preparatory and coordination aspects of the event, which aimed to bring together businesspeople and investors and to explore opportunities for cooperation, trade and market development.
This kind of participation is experience in organising economic events and linking them to business development and investment.
Marketing consulting and business development
The experience also included marketing and business-development consulting for organisations, businesspeople and investors interested in the Kyrgyz market and neighbouring markets.
This work involved:
- Studying market opportunities
- Assessing products and services that can scale
- Developing plans to enter new markets
- Studying potential partners and clients
- Analysing cooperation and investment opportunities
- Developing initial project concepts
- This reflects practical experience in international business development and opening new markets
Opening new export markets
One of the key themes of the Kyrgyz experience was studying export opportunities and opening new markets.
I focused in particular on sectors such as agriculture and related products, studying how to reach new markets and develop suitable trade channels.
This kind of work usually involves studying:
- Exportable products
- Potential demand
- Target markets
- Distribution channels
- Trading partners
- Cooperation opportunities between investors and producers
Investment and service projects
I also took part in developing concepts and initial steps for establishing service companies and institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
These concepts included projects that could be offered to investors from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, reflecting experience in connecting Gulf capital with investment opportunities in Central Asian markets.
Energy projects
Energy projects were among the areas that emerged in the investment concepts linked to Kyrgyzstan.
My role involved studying ideas and opportunities and developing initial concepts for projects that could suit investors; some are still under study.
Linking the Gulf and Central Asia
Kyrgyzstan is a clear example of experience in connecting Gulf investors with new markets in Central Asia.
The importance of this experience lies in combining:
Market research + business development + investment + export + building international partnerships
This adds a different dimension to my career, going beyond education and training into markets, investment and international trade.
Bishkek as an entry point to Central Asian markets
The capital, Bishkek, is an important point in this experience, as the centre of the event and of the professional relationships developed during this stage.
Kyrgyzstan can be seen as a gateway to wider opportunities in Central Asian markets, especially in trade, agriculture, services and energy.
Kyrgyzstan in my international experience
The Kyrgyz experience is a specialised part of my international career, bringing together:
Business development + marketing + investment + export + economic events + opening markets
Its value lies in dealing with a non-traditional market for Arab investors, and working to understand the opportunities and develop concepts that help move from mere interest in a market to clearer business opportunities.
